The Role:As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of residential development projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within budget.
- Leading and coordinating a team of contract administrators, quantity surveyors, and other relevant professionals.
- Developing and implementing robust contract strategies, including tendering, negotiation, and award processes.
- Monitoring and managing contract performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving disputes effectively.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and contractual obligations, including building regulations, health and safety standards, and planning permissions.
- Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- A proven track record in contracts management within the housebuilding industry, ideally with experience managing high-volume residential development programs.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, contract law, and dispute resolution processes.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
