Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of mechanical and electrical plant and vehicles, including cars, HGVs, forklift trucks, and powered access platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on a wide range of mechanical and electrical plant and vehicles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with the service manager and clients.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role, with expertise in maintaining and repairing cars, HGVs, forklift trucks, and powered access platforms.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
