We are currently seeking an experienced Strategic Change Project Manager to join the dynamic team in Newcastle, helping to drive and manage key strategic change initiatives within the organisation.
As a Strategic Change Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind pivotal organisational changes. You will work proactively to develop and implement transformation strategies, manage complex change projects, and ensure the successful delivery of outcomes aligned with Siemens Energy’s long-term strategic objectives. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a strong focus on creating sustainable change through effective leadership and coordination.
The Strategic Change Project Manager will facilitate intra-company knowledge and process transfer related to the Parsons product line. This includes overseeing and coordinating with teams in engineering, procurement, order and project management, quality, bid management, and proposal support.
Responsibilities:
- Be the UK Lead of a cross-national strategic project transition of a historic product line; taking responsibility, accountability and exhibiting strong leadership capabilities
- Lead and manage strategic change projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, ensuring smooth integration of new processes, systems, and technologies.
- Work closely with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and drive transformational initiatives.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues to minimise disruptions during change implementation.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for change management, ensuring the adoption of innovative approaches and tools.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement within project teams and wider departments.
- Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, ensuring key milestones are met and outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
- Act as a change ambassador, promoting and championing the benefits of transformation across the organisation.
- Participate in an agile team with a dynamic, high-energy environment
- Develop Plans to deliver Quality and Risk Management for the project.
- Implement Zero-Harm directives for overall project safety performance.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in customer relationship management and project management, with a history of successfully delivering large-scale, complex, high-value projects.
- Experience in Engineering or Manufacturing industry/background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related, or higher degree or equivalent experience
- PMP, IPMA Certification, or equivalent Project Management Professional Certification.
- Proficient in managing complex international projects and leading significant organisational change initiatives.
