We are looking for experienced Social Workers to join our Social Work Assessment Team. This role requires professionals with a strong background in statutory social work and the completion of single assessments.

Position Summary:

As a Social Worker in our Assessment Team, you will play a critical role in assessing the needs of children and families, working in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes. You will work flexibly, balancing time between the office and home as per team rotas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct statutory social work assessments, including single assessments.

  • Work in partnership with children, families, and wider networks to support their needs.

  • Collaborate effectively with education, health, police, and voluntary sector professionals.

  • Provide timely and high-quality assessments to inform decision-making.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with statutory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Experience in statutory social work and single assessments.

  • Strong ability to work in partnership with children, families, and professionals.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work both remotely and in the office as required by team rotas.
