About Us:Randstad is excited to be working with the Safeguarding Adults Team in Newcastle to recruit a Newly Qualified Social Worker.

Job Description:As a Newly Qualified Social Worker within the Safeguarding Adults Team, you will work closely with vulnerable adults, assessing their needs, and providing tailored support. You will play an important role in safeguarding investigations and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to protect adults at risk of abuse or neglect.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by vulnerable adults.
  • Assist in safeguarding investigations and contribute to developing protection plans.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver effective safeguarding interventions.
  • Provide advice and support to adults at risk, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to support your professional development as a newly qualified social worker.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England (Newly Qualified).
  • Knowledge of adult safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for working with vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships with professionals and service users.
