This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive team, making a difference in the lives of children and families by providing targeted interventions and safeguarding support.

Job Description:As a Social Worker in the FACT Team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and families, conducting assessments, and creating care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. You will work in partnership with other agencies to deliver a comprehensive and effective service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of children and families, conducting assessments to identify risks and needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans that focus on safeguarding, promoting the welfare and development of children.
  • Work collaboratively with families and multi-agency teams to deliver tailored interventions and support.
  • Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, core groups, and other multi-agency meetings.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to children and families in need, helping them access relevant services.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's services, safeguarding, or similar statutory social work roles.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload while working effectively under pressure.
