Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, this role will play a key part in ensuring health and safety standards are met on site.
  • Play an active role in the development and creation of health and safety policy in tandem with the HSE team.
  • Attend Health and Safety committee meetings to remain updated on key policy changes and health and safety events on site.
  • Participate in accident investigations
  • Work alongside health and safety representatives on the shopfloor to understand current risks and gain buy in from staff.
  • Participate in toolbox talks to increase staff awareness of health and safety issues.

Requirements

  • It is desirable for candidates to have some level of health and safety qualification - ie NEBOSH, IOSH.
  • Manufacturing experience would be beneficial to any applicant.
