JOB – Junior Design Engineer LOCATION – NewportTERM- PermanentSALARY - £25,000-£35,000, dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures products for the Automotive Sector. They are looking for Graduate/Junior Design Engineers to join their team in Newport on a permanent basis.The Junior/Graduate Design Engineers will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Experience within an Apprenticeship/Junior Design role/Degree qualified in Engineering or similar
  • A sound understanding of Engineering processes and materials
  • Ideally experienced working with a range of manufacturing processes
  • Experience using 2D & 3D CAD Softwares
  • Hands-on technical experience through your course
  • Able to work to specific requirements and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organised with excellent communication and teamwork skills
The Junior/Graduate Design Engineer roles will involve:
  • Working to project specifications and deadlines
  • Documenting activities and analytics to set standards
  • Participating in technical training
  • Working to budgets and timescales
  • Investigating new solutions and areas within which the company can expand
  • Being involved in different manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
