Weekend shifts are also available, offering £20.89ph on Saturdays and £25.04ph on Sundays and Bank Holidays, with an additional rate of £33.37ph for Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Responsibilities include making timely deliveries to various nationwide locations while adhering to driver regulations and company procedures.

Talstaff Recruitment are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of well established client based in Normanton. Regular ongoing work.

HGV / Class 1 / C+E Drivers urgently required for ongoing work for our client based Normanton. Flexible AM or PM shifts available Mon - Fri. Weekend shifts also available, Saturday and Sunday AM shifts.

You will be required to:

Make on time deliveries to various nationwide locations, store, depots and RDC's.
AM shifts available Monday to Sunday
PM shifts available Monday - Friday
AM 04:00 - 07:00
PM 14:00 - 17:00 starts
Trunking work and Store Deliveries
Curtain siders and palletised stock, limited use of box trailers & tail lifts
Have knowledge of driver hours/regulations.
Hold a valid C+E UK driving licence.
Hold a valid UK DCPC and valid UK digicard.
Work in a professional manner.
Be prepared to undertake site inductions and training.
Have excellent geographical knowledge.
Be able to follow company procedures and keep various people informed of progress or delays.

In return:

AM £16.81ph Monday - Friday (including holiday pay)
PM £19.26ph Monday - Friday (Including holiday pay)
£20.89ph Saturday (Including holiday pay)
£25.04ph for Sundays & Bank Holidays (Including holiday pay)
Additional rate for Boxing Day and New Years Day £33.37ph (Including holiday pay)
Weekly pay.
Full uniform provided after qualifying period.
Regular ongoing work.

You must have held a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence for over 6 months, have no more than 6 penalty points and have no CD, DD, TT, IN or DR codes.
