We are looking to recruit a Voids Supervisor to join our team in North Shields, North Tyneside.
About the Role
As our Voids Supervisor, you will carry out site inspections to monitor quality of work and productivity. Working closely with engineer’s sub-contractors, you’ll provide support on technical issues and performance management. You’ll drive excellent service standards, influencing profitability and basic budget management, Health, Safety and Environmental management and compliance, whilst ensuring ensure exceptional customer relationships are maintained.
Candidates will have the following:
- A Foundation degree, HND or a degree accredited by CIOB in Construction Engineering, Construction Site Management, Building Studies or Building Engineering or equivalent alternative
- A SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely & CSCS Managers category
- Knowledge of Temporary Works Procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of site admin methods and practices
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Good commercial awareness, ability to identify variations to contract
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, technology and materials
- Knowledge of IT Applications ranging from Microsoft Office, Power Project
- Excellent supervisory skills
- Experience of working in a social housing environment is preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships
- Experience of developing teams and managing direct labour and sub-contractors
- Excellent communication skills
