JDI Legal are currently instructed on a brand new private client role for a longstanding established firm of solicitors based in North Tyneside who are looking to recruit an experienced private client solicitor. They are willing to consider applications from those with 4pqe+ and currently working on a full or part time basis, both could be considered. Given the size of the firm everyone is back in the office and whilst there could be some flexibility, its largely office based.
At this moment in time it is a growth role but the successful candidate will ultimately will be succession for a partner who will ultimately wind down. There is a thriving and profitable 3 strong team and a range of work of varying complexity. This person will ultimately take on a key/senior role and Head the Department in 12 months or so.
There is an existing caseload to inherit including Wills, Trusts, Probate, LPA's, Estate Administration and Planning and the individual will support and mentor junior fee earners/trainees in the team.
The firm have modern up to date practices and systems in place so IT literacy is needed.
Its a fantastic opportunity for an experienced private client lawyer who is looking to secure a position which has genuine prospects, based in a lovely town with a strong high street presence.
