DT technician

Design and technology technicians work with a variety of staff including teachers, TA’s . support staff so should work excellent within a team to help support and improve student learning experiences.

You will need to have a variety of skills as you may be asked to support other subjects such as IT and science and provide help in practical lessons.

Your tasks for this role would include –

•          Working within a team to ensure different members of staff have the correct help needed for the lesson

•          Maintaining and repairing equipment when needed

•          Making sure all children feel safe within the environment.

•          Organising stock and doing stock rotation

•          Putting equipment away after the lesson

•          Support both students and staff when in a lesson and attend to their needs

•          Help set up for the lesson by preparing the equipment.
