Are you a detail-oriented and strategic thinker ready to make an impact? We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Northampton. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to all month-end activities, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support key decision-making processes and enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reviews, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyse variances, and provide actionable insights to drive financial performance.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for external audits, coordinating year-end audits seamlessly.
  • Deliver additional reporting requirements to support business needs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations.
  • Mentor and support junior team members with their workload and development.
  • Collaborate with various levels of the organisation, from junior staff to senior leadership, to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Key Requirements:

  • Finalist or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or overseas equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
