Debbie Burbage Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with our client, a well-established company located in a picturesque village near Junction 15 of the M1. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. Salary £60,000 -£75,000 depending on experience.

This is a pivotal role where you will act as the crucial interface between the finance department and the commercial teams. We are looking for a proactive individual who can business partner across departments, providing insights and guidance that will truly add value to the business,whilst mentoring and developing a small team.

Reporting to the Finance Director, key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between finance and commercial teams, offering support, insight, and analysis to drive decision-making
  • Provide commercial and financial analysis to support strategic business initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to influence business planning and budgeting
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to the development of commercial strategy by providing accurate financial insights
  • Mentor and support a small team of analysts, guiding their development and ensuring your function runs smoothly and efficiently

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be an experienced management accountant with strong commercial acumen
  • Have excellent communication skills, able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
  • Be proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to business partner with commercial teams and contribute to strategic discussions
  • Be highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Remuneration:

  • Salary £60,000 - £75,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Hours of work 40 hours per week, office-based
  • 22 days holiday + statutory bank holidays
