In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting budget and forecast processes, and driving financial analysis to support decision-making. You will work closely with the site leadership team and have the opportunity to make a real impact on the site's financial performance.

Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.

  • Provide financial support to site operations, including cost control, inventory management, and production-related expenses.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare budgets and forecasts.

  • Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to site operations.

  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

  • Assist in internal and external audits.

  • Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems on-site.

Profile

Key Skills & Experience:

  • A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).

  • Proven experience in manufacturing accounting, preferably within an FMCG or similar environment.

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis in a manufacturing setting.

  • Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • A proactive approach with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
