Additionally, there may be some budgeting and analysis at the central Trust level alongside school-specific tasks.Responsibilities also include costing and cost analysis, interpreting complex financial data, journal postings, and assisting with year-end close.A qualification as a chartered accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) is essential for these roles. Experience within a multi-site wider public sector, but the Education Sector is ideal. Familiarity with managing budgets for facilities, catering, or IT departments is beneficial, but not mandatory.These roles are crucial for enhancing strategic financial analysis and insights, aiding in the understanding of financial reporting on Trust performance for key stakeholders, including the Trust Executive Team, Heads of Professions, and school leadership teams.
