Our client is seeking a purchase ledger clerk for a 6-month fixed term contract to assist the finance team with the purchase ledger system.
Key responsibilities include processing invoices, issuing payments, statement reconciliation, and resolving queries.
Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of purchase ledger processes, accounting terms, and finance regulations.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in purchase ledger or accounting roles.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Our client has a vacancy for a purchase ledger clerk on a 6 month fixed term contract to support the finance team in processing and running the purchase ledger system.

The role:

Processing and obtaining authorisation of invoices
Issuing payments
Statement reconciliation
Query resolution
Nominal payments
Spreadsheet analysis and reconciliation
Involvement in projects

Requirements:

In depth knowledge of purchase ledger processes, including fixed assets, accruals and prepayments
Knowledge of accounting terms and concepts
Understanding of finance regulations and legislation
