Our client, a leading organisation based in Northampton, is looking for a talented Group Reporting Manager to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take a lead role in driving financial compliance, improving reporting processes, and managing the audit function. The successful candidate will also oversee a small team of Financial Accountants and enjoy a supportive hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties of this Group Reporting Manager will be:

  • Take ownership of group financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Develop and drive process improvements to optimise reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead both internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain a strong financial compliance framework across the organisation.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to a team of Financial Accountants.
  • Supervise and own the process of full Group consolidation working in conjunction with the Group FC.
  • Be responsible for the production of multiple sets of financial statements within the Group.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate for this Group Reporting Manager role will be:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, audit, and compliance.
  • Proven background in driving process improvements and implementing financial controls.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and developing team members.
  • Degree in accountancy, economics, or business etc.
