My client is seeking a highly skilledOcean Freight Commercial Team Leaderto lead our ocean freight pricing and commercial strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing carrier relationships, negotiating competitive freight rates, and driving profitability through strategic pricing initiatives. This role requires a good level of understanding of ocean freight market trends and commercial strategies to enhance business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to enhance ocean freight services and profitability.
  • Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with ocean carriers to ensure competitive pricing and optimal service levels.
  • Ensure shipments are delivered on time and within budget, meeting customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, carriers, and key clients.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, trade policies, and internal commercial policies.
