Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to help us with a 1-2-1 placement at a SEND school based in Northampton.

In this role, you will provide essential support for children with SEND, helping them overcome their barriers to learning and reach their full potential. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be someone who can work collaboratively with our staff and adapt to the unique needs of the student. Experience with ADHD and SEMH is beneficial, but we also welcome applicants with varied backgrounds, as we believe different perspectives can enrich the learning environment.

The Teaching Assistant will be expected to work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive, supportive, and structured environment for our students. Your role will include providing one-to-one support, managing behavior, and delivering tailored interventions that meet the individual needs of the pupil.

We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience working in:

-Mainstream schools or alternative provision settings.

-Residential care homes or other care environments.

-Support Work

-Any other relevant background that involves supporting young people with complex needs.

-Any one who is familiar with SEN in their family setting
