Owen Daniels is partnering with a leading food manufacturing and processing business based in Northampton that are experiencing significant growth. We are looking to recruit an Assistant Technical Manager to ensure that all products manufactured at the site are safe, legal, authentic and fulfilling expectations of customers and consumers.   • Contribute to the maintenance of site certifications (BRC, RT, Organic, BMPA)
  • Collect and prepare samples including swabs for controls and investigations.
  • Provide specifications and legal labelling function by creating, updating and maintaining finished product specifications.
  • Respond to customers, consumers, auditors and regulators technical enquiries.
  • Ensure the Quality Management System is fully implemented
Assistant Technical ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry, in a quality/technologist role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant food industry regulations and standards e.g. HACCP and BRC.
