Role Overview:
A prominent contractor is looking for a permanent Site Manager to oversee operations on a renewable energy site. The role involves ensuring the site's day-to-day activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a background in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily site operations to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Health & Safety Management: Implement and enforce health and safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise site personnel and contractors, ensuring smooth 24/7 operations while maintaining strict safety standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee on-site projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure all activities align with environmental and regulatory requirements, and submit regular performance and compliance reports.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Organize maintenance schedules and ensure proper equipment upkeep to minimize operational downtime.

Requirements:

  • Experience with large civil engineering projects
  • Civils qualifications
  • Valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS certifications
