Office & Order Processing Manager Northampton£28-30k DOEMonday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00 ( 4pm finish Friday )We are working with a small successful business in Northampton, who are looking for a reliable and self – motivated business administrator to join their team. Specialising in product distribution, your role is key to the smooth running of the business, optimising performance through strategic production planning and order processing.Key Duties:
  • Order processing and inputting orders onto sage
  • Production planning and scheduling
  • Working with production staff to coordinate and meet production deadlines
  • Purchasing and stock management
  • Ensuring supplier orders are placed to align with the production planning
  • Credit control
  • Supplier payments
  • Bank / account reconciliation
  • Payroll.
  • Prep of accounts to hand over to accountants at year end.
  • Attend weekly management meetings with company director.
  • Ensuring smooth running of office and business functions.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Organised, Self-motivated with the ability to work to own initiative
  • Experience working and managing a small team is desirable
  • Forward thinking with good problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and customer focused
  • Microsoft office and good IT skills
  • Experience with SAGE highly desirable
  • General accounts experience
