This role is for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor who has experience working on planned maintenance projects. Your role will be working within the current commercial team on a number of high-rise projects across the Northamptonshire area.

Client Details

This client specialise in refurbishment and maintenance works a wide variety of schemes with local authorities/councils/housing associations. They work Northamptonshire and they work on a wide variety of planned maintenance works across high-rise/low rise properties.

Description

Your role will involve:

  • Working alongside the commercial team to ensure all commercial elements of the job are in place and adhered to, allowing the projects to run as smoothly as possible
  • Negotiation with clients and the supply chain
  • Relationship building
  • Liaising with the client and contractors

Profile

Ideally you will already have experience working in a similar role and have knowledge and understanding of construction contracts, BoQs and Schedule of rates as well as working on frameworks and closely with the client and local authorities. Working on planned maintenance projects is essential for this role as this is the side of the business that this role sits within. You will be happy working both on site and in the office as well as some hybrid working - however a large amount of the role will be out on site and working as part of the wider team.
