Salary: Basic Circa £40,000, Benefits including Pension, Healthcare etc.
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

A excellent opportunity has become available for a Field Service Engineer to join a global provider of speciality chemicals. Working at a number of their client sites within the Water Treatment and Food & Beverage sectors, you will be responsible for carrying out installation and commissioning of new equipment as well as planned/scheduled maintenance checks and emergency breakdowns. You will be based from home and receive support for a team of Service Coordinators covering the South Midlands and South West UK regions.

Skills required for an Field Service Engineer:

• The ideal candidate will hold either electrical or mechanical qualifications, ideally ONC or HNC.
• Experience of working in a Manufacturing, Food & Beverage or Water Treatment environment.
• PLC Fault-Finding skills.
• Proven problem solving and troubleshooting ability within a engineering environment.
• Automation and Project Management experience would be advantageous.
• A Full UK Driving Licence.
