Your ambition to succeed and develop your skills will be key as you contribute to a crucial area of the business. In this Supply Chain Finance Business Partner role, you'll provide excellent analytical and reporting insights, empowering the team to make the best commercial decisions.As a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner, you'll collaborate closely with various teams within finance, including FP&A reporting teams, and engage with our external supply chain business partner to enhance efficiency across warehouse operations and transport. This includes both the primary Warrington distribution centre and the branch-based MHE and delivery fleet.By stepping into the role of Supply Chain Finance Business Partner, you will play an integral part in driving the success of our distribution operations, ensuring that we consistently deliver top-tier results.Key Responsibilities Provide key financial support to our Supply Chain team, business partnering across all key stakeholders.Support the production of value added reporting to arm business partners with relevant information for commercial decision making.Present the key themes facing the business at management meetings.Support the investment agenda including investment appraisal and post implementation reviews.Work closely with other finance teams to deliver annual planning cycles (reforecasts, budgets & 5 year plan).Review external provider performance on a weekly / monthly basis to ensure cost and service is maintained.Responsible for the production and presentation of the annual budget meetings.Support the production of monthly management accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.Continually review key reporting to ensure the business remains focused on improving KPI metrics to improve profitability.This is a hybrid-based opportunity with true flexibility to work from home 3 days a week, with 2 days in our newly refurbished offices in Crick, NorthamptonshireYou: You’ll live and breathe our Customer First ethos, with an innovative and agile approach to problem-solving.  You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider Finance team and you’ll thrive on delivering excellent support to the wider team.Skills and competencies Strong demonstrable working in a Supply Chain Finance environment.CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualification.Ability to accurately follow departmental procedures.Strong experience in Excel or Google Sheets is a must with evidence of large data slabs and manipulation.Well organised, with the ability to work under your own initiative managing multiple projects at once.SQL knowledge (or the ability to learn SQL) is also beneficial.It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Finance Analyst, Finance BP, Finance Business Partner, Finance Partner, Financial Accountant, Finance Analyst, CIMA Qualified, ACCA Qualified, ACA Qualified, FMCG, eCommerce, Online, Digital, Retail, Manufacturing, Building Products, Plumbing & Heating, Construction, Supply Chain Distribution. Us; From boilers to bathroom suites, tubing to towel rails and everything in between, City Plumbing has all the products our customers need to complete the job.
