Description
- Oversee the organisation's financial operations, including budget preparation, financial reporting and auditing.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislations and standards.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual reports and financial statements.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
- Manage relationships with external partners such as banks and audit firms.
- Lead and manage the accounting and finance team.
- Develop financial planning processes to help align financial decisions with the organisation's strategic goals.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the not for profit sector.
- Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
