Description

  • Oversee the organisation's financial operations, including budget preparation, financial reporting and auditing.
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislations and standards.
  • Coordinate the preparation of annual reports and financial statements.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
  • Manage relationships with external partners such as banks and audit firms.
  • Lead and manage the accounting and finance team.
  • Develop financial planning processes to help align financial decisions with the organisation's strategic goals.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the not for profit sector.
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
