We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. With a history spanning over 30 years, our family business is embarking on an array of exciting projects. Day-to-day of the role: 

  • Deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction in line with our 5-Star Customer Promise.
  • Manage and monitor all activities within the service, repairs, and maintenance team, including complaints.
  • Oversee the P&L of the department, complete worksheet billing, and maximise gross profitability.
  • Produce accurate reports to ensure works are completed, deadlines are met, and revenue and costs are evaluated.
  • Manage all Service Contracts in line with SLAs and participate in the pricing of parts, labour, and other charges.
  • Lead and motivate the team to consistently meet customer and company expectations.
  • Oversee Out of Office Services and Management, including PPMs and assisting with Accreditations.
  • Schedule works for all engineers (PAYE/Sub-Contract) and ensure all jobs are accurately recorded within the company’s CRM/software packages.
  • Manage administration, documentation, software systems, job costing, complaints, and QHSE. 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Operations Manager in a similar field/sector.
  • Knowledge of the Fire & Security industry.
  • Proficient with CRM and Microsoft Office at an advanced level.
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Initiative with a focus on identifying existing and new opportunities and solutions.
  • Strong organisational and team-building skills.
  • Leadership and motivational skills.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time-management skills. 

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with performance-related bonus.
  • Standard working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • Annual leave: 20 days per year (increasing annually to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years) plus 8 Bank holidays.
