A highly regarded and friendly law firm in East Cheshire is seeking a Senior Family Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced solicitor to provide expert legal advice on a broad range of privately funded family law matters while contributing to the firm’s continued success and growth.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE in Family Law.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Family Law, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal advice.
  • Strong drafting and advocacy skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proclaim case management experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Ability to develop business relationships and engage in networking to build the firm’s client base.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters, including: divorce and financial remedy issues, children and injunction matters, surrogacy arrangements, cohabitee disputes and pre/post-nuptial agreements
  • Providing strategic legal advice tailored to clients’ specific needs.
  • Preparing detailed legal documents, correspondence, and conducting advocacy where necessary.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
  • Supporting the team’s business development initiatives and representing the firm in professional networking events.
