About the Role:
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of security systems to the highest industry standards. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction, safety, and system efficiency while working independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain security systems in compliance with SSAIB standards.
- Conduct system commissioning and handovers to customers.
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
- Complete electronic reports accurately and on time.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota to provide 24-hour customer support.
- Share technical expertise and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high service standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in security engineering.
- Understanding of SSAIB standards.
- Strong IT skills and experience working with software-based security systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
