NXTGEN is working with a fantastic firm who are looking for a new Payroll Administrator to join the team in their Norwich office. As the new Payroll Administrator, you will join a firm who are all about their people, wellbeing and providing a supportive environment. You will join a hardworking yet very accommodating team as a key member of the team. Your main role responsibilities will be to support on a broad client portfolio, processing weekly, monthly, and biweekly payrolls for clients varying in size.

This is a new role due to recent growth hence the firm being about to offer either part or full time hours. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone who would like a role built around you, your needs, and strengths, if you're someone who enjoys working at your current level or keen to progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients.
  • Calculating and processing statutory payments, including SMP, SSP, and SPP.
  • Preparing payroll reports for clients and HMRC.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to clients by responding to queries promptly and professionally.
  • Assisting the wider team with general administrative tasks as needed.

What you need:

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing for multiple payrolls, preferably within an accountancy or payroll bureau environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel and experience using payroll software.
  • Ability to work accurately and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
