As a Product Analyst at E.ON Next, you will be instrumental in understanding, supporting and progressing a diverse set of products that cater to our expanding customer base and Energy Specialists. Your role will involve working closely with our business, internal and external development teams, harnessing your skills to better define complex problems, understand industry trends and apply best practice to help our products measure against & smash their goals.

The Product area you'll be supporting is Contact. In Contact, we own the tech that makes it super easy for customers to get in touch with E.ON Next; such as our telephony, email and social media platforms, as well as the tech and tools we provide our Energy Specialists to handle customer contact in the most seamless way possible. We also ensure we provide all of our colleagues with the most effective methods for communicating with one another, and with our customers.

We'll want you to:

  • Collaborate closely with our product leads & managers, business owners, subject matter experts, in-house engineers and 3rd parties to create, identify, refine and deliver our Contact product pipeline
  • Quickly build an expert understanding for your focus area and internal processes
  • Be able to understand and manage the impact of incidents and bug fixes
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt to differing focus areas, all within the Contact space
  • Own elements of our Contact product backlog
  • Translate problems into well-defined features and issues
  • Work with our business teams to successfully validate and/or test newly delivered tech
  • Get deep into understanding the value a piece of tech can bring to our organisation to support with prioritisation exercises
  • Build a great stakeholder network across all areas of the business & with our partners
  • Consider offline solutions - help our business identify, design and implement alternative problem mitigations
  • Love data and be able to gather and measure as much as possible, knowing how to use it and present it effectively
  • Conduct external research in to our own and similar markets - gathering best practices and exciting & innovative ideas for us to apply to our own Contact product experience
  • All our Product Analysts create value and provide valuable insight to better our products. However, our Senior Product Analysts do come with more experience, so we expect more of them. This includes:
  • Guide on more complex and business-critical product initiatives
  • Establish and run a guild on a relevant topic of your choosing, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Support with coaching more junior members of the team
  • Seek insight and learnings from both internal and external sources, bringing this back in to the team and our products to ensure we continue to innovate

You'll need:

  • Significant tech and energy experience
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent understanding of technology trends
  • Significant experience working with complex delivery pipelines
  • To be adaptable and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • A desire to learn and be comfortable with feedback
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management capabilities
  • To be able to navigate complex datasets, perform detailed analysis & define problem solutions
  • Excellent communication, translation & presentation skills with an ability to collaborate at a senior level
  • Experience of working with or within a Contact Centre
  • To be willing to travel between our E.ON Next Hubs as required
