Sales Administrator / Customer Service Specialist
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Location: Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire
Contract: 12-month fixed-term (maternity cover)
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator / Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis (37 hours per week), with part-time (25-30 hours) considered for the right candidate.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the Sales team, ensuring smooth communication with customers and departments. Strong organisational skills and proficiency in software applications are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain sales database and produce reports
- Log and record sales data, and respond to enquiries
- Process customer orders and create quotations for UK & overseas customers
- Collaborate with departments (Shipping, Finance, Production)
- Continuously strive for quality improvement
Role Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Experience with CRM software (preferred)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon–Thurs 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Fri 8:00 am–1:00 pm) or open to part-time of 25 hours per/weekBenefits: 6.51% employer pension, life assurance, 26 days holiday, free parking
