We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Accounts Advisory Manager to join this growing Top 30 firm.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a pivotal role in providing strategic financial guidance and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio of SMEs, OMBs and local clients.

Your role as an Accounts Advisory Manager:

  • As a Manager, you will oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements, manage the preparation of management accounts and advise clients on accounting and tax matters.
  • Supervise and ensure the delivery of high-quality bookkeeping and VAT services, addressing day-to-day client queries and resolving any significant issues, including software-related concerns.
  • Review financial accounts (both unincorporated and incorporated) in preparation for client meetings and ensure they are ready for Partner sign-off.
  • Address client inquiries regarding HMRC, PAYE, and VAT matters with minimal guidance from the Partner.
  • Oversee a designated client portfolio, managing workflow, preparation, reviews, meetings, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with statutory and non-statutory deadlines.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, supporting their professional development and career growth.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You will be ACCA/ACA Qualified with post qualification experience.
  • You will have experience in managing your own portfolio.
  • Strong experience with both statutory and management accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory and technical aspects related to limited company accounts, in particular FRS 102 and FRS 105.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and think creatively to solve challenges.
