Role Responsibilities- Managing audits from planning to completion for a varied portfolio of clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, audit reports, and key findings
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and building strong relationships
- Reviewing the work of audit seniors and trainees, ensuring technical accuracy and high-quality standards
- Providing mentorship and training to junior staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
- Overseeing audit deadlines, budgets, and client expectations to ensure smooth delivery
- Working as part of a supportive and dynamic team, where communication and cultural fit are key

Candidate Requirements- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with experience in external audit
- Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
- A strong team player who enjoys mentoring and developing others
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with a proactive and professional approach
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with audit and accounting software such as CCH, Xero, or similar systems
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple engagements effectively
- £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
