We have taken on a new tax position with a leading accountancy firm to support the recruitment of an important and central position, available up to Manager / Senior Manager grade, perhaps Associate Director and based from an office in Nottingham.

The job can include areas like corporate restructuring and all advisory elements, working with a high-quality and experienced audit and accounts team who will provide regular opportunities to engage their clients on tax advisory areas, like remuneration planning etc. The firm have numerous clients who are group companies, often up to £50M turnover, with a couple around £100M turnover.

The right recruit into this role, could go in and build a corporate tax team; helping to grow Nottingham, servicing the other offices and working across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation/review of personal and corporate tax returns and computations
  • Preparation/review of capital gains tax computations
  • Preparation of more complex corporation tax and personal tax computations
  • Tax planning
  • First point of contact for own portfolio of clients
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
