You’ll be leading a team of four direct reports (15 in total), overseeing central finance activities across management accounting, budgeting, treasury, and financial controls. This isn’t a transactional role – it’s about adding value, driving efficiency, and improving financial systems.

This is an organisation that genuinely supports flexible working. The team don’t work long hours, and managing your time/diary in the office is the norm (2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days from home).

They’ve recently implemented Oracle, and there’s huge scope for improvements in reporting, automation, and system integration. You’ll be working closely with the FD, CFO, and wider finance teams to shape financial strategy and ensure that robust reporting processes are in place.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and developing the group finance team, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Overseeing group management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet management, and statutory reporting.
  • Managing treasury, capital management, and financial risk to ensure strong governance.
  • Providing technical accounting guidance, ensuring compliance with GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership, influencing financial decision-making across the organisation.
  • Driving improvements in Oracle, ensuring efficient reporting and automation.
  • Liaising with auditors, external advisors, and key stakeholders across the business.

Your experience….ACCA / CIMA OR ACA QualifiedExceptional leadership skills and experience in financial control, group reporting, and system improvements, ideally in a large co / PLC environment
