Based in Nottingham, this organisation is looking for an Interim Finance Manager to join their forward-thinking finance team for a nine-month contract. You’ll be at the heart of key initiatives, influencing decision-making, and ensuring financial excellence during a crucial period of change. You must be strong technically. You will:
- Utilise you technical accounting expertise to support the Finance team in adopting new accounting standards and business initiatives
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for three legal entities
- Oversee the external audit process, handling daily auditor requests and ensuring timely submission of required data
- Ensure all financial reporting tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Support business readiness activities for a system implementation project
- Take on various ad hoc projects as required
- Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experienceÂ
- Strong technical background with financial accounting experience
- Versatile and adaptable—comfortable juggling a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A confident communicator who thrives on managing challenging stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with excellent Excel skills
