This is a tremendous opportunity to join a market-leading FMCG/Retail business in Nottingham on an initial 9-month contract.
The role involves month-end close activities, supervision of an offshore team, and supporting teams in adopting new process solutions.
Candidates should have experience working in medium to large-sized businesses and possess strong team management and process improvement skills.
The salary for this position ranges from £55,000 to £65,000, with additional benefits including a good pension and bonus.
Applicants are expected to be qualified accountants with relevant experience and ideally based in the East Midlands.

Market leading FMCG / Retail business with a strong employer brand, based in Nottingham

Description

- Month end close activities including supervision of offshore team, review and approval of journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting onshore and offshore teams to adopt new process solutions that maximise the benefits of a single platform for 3 businesses.
- Business readiness activities including User Acceptance Testing, Standard Operating Procedures updates, and training.
- Data readiness activities including cleanse and transformation of data ahead of migration to S/4.
- Transition to new system/cut over planning and execution support.

Profile

You will be a technically strong, qualified accountant, with experience of working within a medium / large sized business.

You will have team management experience and strong process improvement skills

This role is on-site in Nottingham, so you will ideally be based in the East Midlands

Job Offer

£55-65k plus good pension and bonus.
