Due to continued growth and expansion, New Resource Recruitment are delighted to be hiring for aDivisional Manager to support in the delivery and growth ofour Nottinghamshire division.

Role Purpose:

To help achieve this vision, our Nottinghamshire Divisional Manager is an experienced, professional, driven, and dedicated individual who drives the performance and operations of their respective team.


Initially, this will be to establish our local presence with new and existing clients. Then growing our business into new targeted companies and fulfilling positions.


As the business continues to gain traction, hire a recruitment team to deliver on our strategic plan.


Be responsible for meeting hiring goals by sourcing new clients and filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates; their role includes setting and maintaining the division standards, ensuring efficiency, achieving consistent growth through new business acquisition, as well as managing cost and profitability.


They positively lead the team, inspiring their people and ensuring that targets and objectives are met. This role is integral to our organisation, as clients come to New Resource Recruitment for our expertise, and our excellent service; knowing that with every placement, we contribute to the growth of their business and the aspirations of the individuals.


For our Divisional Managers to excel in their role, they will need to perform the following duties and responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):


  • Grow their division's revenue, market share, and profit by delivering the strategy and target operating model, increasing brand awareness, and engaging with the right profile of clients for New Resource Recruitment.
  • Manage all service levels and standards, ensuring that clients, contacts, and the community receive the highest levels of service.
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day divisional operations including covering operational activities when staff are absent or on annual leave.
  • Train, develop, and drive the team to deliver on their targets, goals, and KPIs to meet performance targets in line with our 360-recruiting model.
  • Oversee compliance, regulatory governance, controls, and escalation of issues as the second line of defence.
  • Grow new client acquisition and explore new opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on all data required for each role to perform effectively.


Core Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours:

  • National PSL management, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong business development and leadership skills to manage the team to deliver on their objectives.
  • Maximise opportunities within existing and new client networks, acting as a creative thinker and proactively driving the business unit.
  • Confident in delivering sales and process training to the team. Familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be resilient when under pressure, with a confident and professional manner.
  • Be driven and passionate about excellence, being unapologetic in ensuring exceptional standards are set and maintained across branches.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable making independent and difficult decisions, and be a solution-focused effective problem solver.

Core Experience and Qualifications:

  • Desirable but not essential, a university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and a member of a recruitment regulatory body.
  • Must have + five years experience working in the recruitment sector, and will have grown their own desk or division.
  • Must have excellent recruitment, operations, and people management skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, regulations, and IT/ Microsoft and other relevant computer or CRM software.
  • Strong working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods, deep understanding of employment laws and regulations, and familiarity with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
  • Essential to have a full UK Driver's license and access to a car/vehicle to attend client visits and perform business development duties.
