HR Officer

37.5 Hours per week (Hybrid)
£15.38ph - £16.92ph (Equivalent to £30-33k)
Temporary - 6 Months
Must be CIPD Level 3 or above.
Key Responsibilities
Sickness Absence Management:
- Oversee sickness absence casework
- Prepare and provide attendance reports using the HR system to monitor trends and inform decision-making.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Provide HR policy guidance and respond to day-to-day queries.
- Manage casework on employee relations issues, including disciplinary matters, grievances, maternity leave, and consultations.
- Ensure compliance with employment law
HR Administration & Audits:
- Take notes at formal HR meetings and support formal hearings where necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records (both paper and electronic) in line with compliance requirements.
Organisational Support & Projects:
- Contribute to HR improvement projects, including policy development and process enhancement.
- Support training and induction programs for staff, including sessions on absence and performance management.
- Maintain and update HR content on SharePoint, the Shared Drive, and other platforms.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Advise on recruitment advertising, candidate packs, interview guides, and assessment materials.
- Provide training and guidance on best recruitment practices.
- Oversee the onboarding process for central team staff.
HR Communication & Reporting:
- Prepare management reports as required to support decision-making.
- Coordinate HR-related content for the Trust newsletter.
- Ensure effective support and coordination of HR audit activities.
