Anti-Social Behaviour & Nuisance Officer required for a council in the Ashfield region on a temporary basis.

This role would see you responsible for managing a portfolio of live cases relating to Anti-Social Behaviour, Nuisance and Environmental issues ranging from early intervention, prevention through to prosecution and possession.

You will be required to effectively investigate, manage and resolve cases of Anti-Social and Nuisance Behaviour effecting residents and visitors to Ashfield. This includes but is not limited to managing complaints of verbal and written abuse, targeted behaviour, noise nuisance, bonfires and waste on land on behalf of all residents and Council tenants.

You will be required to provide a victim centred approach, ensure timely action and effective use of our tools and powers (including prevention and enforcement) under the ASB, Crime and Policing Act, Housing Act and Environment Protection Act.

Essential Requirements

For this role you must currently hold an enhanced DBS or be able to pass one
You must have a UK Driving Licence
You must have experience in dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour.

Pay rate: 25 - 27 per hour, Umbrella, paid weekly
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 37 hours a week

ASAP
Duration: until end of January 2025, but may be extended
Location: Various locations across Ashfield, NG17
