The Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our Housing Services Team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across the Council's housing assets. Duties include sanitation, drainage, heating (non-gas), and adaptations for disabilities, ensuring high standards of health and safety, and delivering excellent service to tenants. You will also conduct fault finding, emergency repairs, and minor maintenance tasks to keep properties in optimal condition.

The CandidateThe ideal candidate will have:? NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Advanced Craft in plumbing? A current ECS Health & Safety card? A full, valid UK driving licence? Experience in all aspects of plumbing, including fault finding and repairs? Ability to carry out minor joinery, plastering, and painting tasks to complete plumbing jobs? Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of tenants? Comfortable using technology (PDAs, tablets, online services) for work orders and reports
Desirable:? Experience in risk assessments and method statements? Ability to identify and implement efficient working methods? Willingness to undergo a DBS check
