We are excited to be working with a reputable Logistics company who are a leader in their field and have an fantastic opportunity to join their team in Nursling, Hampshire! Our client is looking for a Transport Administration Supervisor who has strong supervisory and administrative skills and is looking to join a friendly and dynamic team.

The Role:

Our client is looking to recruit someone with previous supervisory experience, ideally from within a transport office environment and can be part of the companies continued success. This role will be office based and unfortunately does not offer remote or hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making sure jobs are billed correctly to customers
  • Creating efficient processes for filing and other general administrative tasks
  • Supervising a team of between 3 to 8 people
  • Basic experience with pricing, reporting, data analysing and invoicing/accounting tasks
  • Liaising with staff and customers via phone and e-mail
  • Managing fuel cards, parking charges and driver fines
  • Managing POD documentation
  • Generating reports and analysing data to ensure customer service levels are maintained using MS Excel

Key Skills:

  • Previous admin supervisory experience within a busy transport office or similar would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate - experienced in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy office environment
  • Strong customer service skills

Hours:

Working hours are 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
