Full time hours on a temporary basis

    • Manage the Events team and coordinate duties.
    • Supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with regulations.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to advertise events and manage fees.
    • Ensure Health & Safety compliance in event planning.
    • Engage with Cabinet Members for civic events.
    • Work with the EDI team and community leaders to deliver inclusive events.

    Ideal role Requirements:

    • Full driving licence and vehicle.
    • Experience liaising with multiple agencies (SAG, Police, Fire, Ambulance, H&S, Armed Forces).
    • Experience with both small and large-scale events (large-scale essential).
    • Experience leading a Safety Advisory Group and chairing meetings.
    • Degree-level Event Management qualification or significant professional experience.
