One of our public sector clients is looking for an HR Consultant to join their local authority team on a contract basis.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- previous experience within local authority / government / council would be beneficial
- extensive HR experience across the full spectrum of HR Services including business partnering and organisational development.
- experience supervising employees and assigning workloads
- Microsoft office skills (word, excel, powerpoint)
- an understanding of the workings of local authorities and how they operate
- understanding of legislative framework and governance arrangements applicable to local government.
This is a contract role looking for an ASAP start. Please only apply if yo uare available immediately / 2 week notice max.
You will work hybrid, 2 days per week on site in Oldbury. Day rate on offer is £155 inside ir35. Contract running until mid May 2025 initially with possible extensions.
