Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Consultant to join our client based in Oldbury through a time of growth and transformation, this role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days a week required onsite.

The ideal HR Consultant will be responsible for leading three key areas in HR Business Partnering, Learning and Organisational Development Business Partnering, and HR Casework. The HR Consultant will work across various projects and workstreams, playing an essential role in shaping the delivery of the organisation's people strategy and supporting the next phase of the organisational development.

The duties of the HR Consultant include:

  • Driving forward the delivery of the people strategy (2024-2027)
  • Leading on organisational change, restructures, and workforce planning
  • Developing impactful learning and development interventions
  • Supporting equality, diversity and inclusion projects and initiatives
  • Offering expert HR advice and guidance across a range of key HR initiatives

The HR Consultant will ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience of leadership and ability to motivate others
  • Experience across a wide range of HR service including business partnering and organisational development
  • Experience within the public sector is desirable

The HR Consultant will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
