Leading regional law firm is looking to appoint a Head of Conveyancing. Founded in 1795 and growing as a reputable conveyancing firm in Lancashire, we are looking at this vacancy for the Oldham office.Joining as Head of Conveyancing, you will oversee and lead a conveyancing team. This includes a small team of fee earners and assistants, ensuring excellent efficiency and client care in day-to-day processes.You will provide guidance and nurture the team, grow the firm’s client base and drive business development. From overseeing daily processes and team daily activities, we aim to sustain a team around you.Alongside mentoring the team, you are responsible for a complex and varied caseload. This includes sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold transactions and transfers of equity.Candidate Criteria and Essential Skills
  • Qualified legal professional – solicitor, chartered legal executive to licensed conveyancer
  • Proven experience of leading and supporting a team of fee earners
  • Experience handling high value, complex property transactions
  • Passion for business development and commercially focused mindset
  • Strong understanding of commercial to residential property
