My Client is looking to recruit an HR Manager/Head of HR, to join the business during a period of growth. This position is a full time office based role.

Job Summary:

The HR Manager is responsible for ensuring that HR strategies align with the organization’s goals and support its growth. The candidate will deliver on the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and offboarding. This role requires a strategic leader with experience in all aspects of the HR function, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Oversee the full recruitment process from job postings, interviewing, candidate selection, and offers.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
    • Manage employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization’s attractiveness to potential employees.
  • Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:
    • Design and implement onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
    • Conduct exit interviews and ensure proper offboarding procedures are in place.
    • Continuously improve onboarding experiences to boost employee engagement and retention.
  • Performance Management & Development:
    • Lead performance management processes, including setting KPIs, conducting reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous feedback.
    • Identify and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
    • Support career progression by developing succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
    • Ensure HR policies are up to date and consistently applied across the organization.
    • Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect within the workplace.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
    • Manage HR audits and oversee employee data and records management.
    • Mitigate risks by proactively addressing issues related to employee relations, legal matters, and workplace safety.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
    • Oversee the development and implementation of compensation structures and benefits programs.
    • Conduct regular reviews of salary structures and benefits packages to remain competitive in the market.
  • HR Strategy & Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the HR strategy in alignment with business goals.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of HR services.
    • Act as a key advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters, contributing to business strategy and planning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in HR management with comprehensive knowledge of the full HR cycle.
  • Strong background in recruitment and talent acquisition, including experience managing high-volume hiring.
  • Experience in designing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex employee relations and foster a positive work environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
  • SHRM or CIPD certification is an advantage.
