Are you a Music graduate (BSc/MSc/PhD) passionate about inspiring the next generation? Cover People UK are seeking enthusiastic individuals to work in secondary schools across Oldham. Position: Music Graduates within EducationLocation: Oldham (Secondary Schools)Employment Type: Full Time, Mon to Fri 8:30AM to 3:30PM

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Supervising classes during teacher absences
  • Support/mentor students across mainstream classes as a Learning Support Assistant
  • Mentor/Tutor students on a one-to-one basis on specific instruments
  • Ensuring students are completing the work set by SLT/class teachers
  • Manage behaviour within the classroom – creating a constructive learning environment
  • Providing support to students where necessary

Requirements:

  • A degree in Music
  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Cover People UK
